Cheryl Cole ASOS auction

This week Cheryl Cole launched an auction on online retailer site ASOS allowing people to bid on a small selection of her personal designer garments. The winner of each bid will be the person who bets the lowest unique price. That means that the lowest price that no one else has bid. The money raised will go to The Cheryl Cole Foundation which helps disadvantaged young people in the North East, as well as contributing towards a variety of Prince's Trust projects. I really want this 3.1 Phillip Lim Ikat romper suit, but alas, even if i did win the bid there is no way it would fit me!
The auction runs from 13th-24th June. Happy Bidding!

Mister Owl

Yesterday myself, Jen and Louise headed down to Earl's Court for this year's Graduate Fashion Week. The exhibition itself showcased a host of new and innovative young talent, with graphic designer Patrick Schmidt a personal favourite of mine for his old-school sailor themed illustrations. Patrick works under the name Mister Owl and finds inspiration from "salty sea dogs, wise old owls and worn out signs."

Baby Is A Sinner

I introduced Baby Is A Sinner  to everyone at work during our click show-and-tell today. The blog was recommended to me by one of my best friends who works with the blogger Sarah-Louise, and was shortlisted for the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards in 2010. I just love the style of her photo's, in particular The Emerald Coast story. However, it makes me even more depressed to still be in England with no plans of a holiday this summer. Even still, please check it out - definitely one of my favourites at the moment.

Beach Tomato

Introduced to me by a friend of mine, I then recommended fashion and travel site Beach Tomato to every one at Mpdclick and it definitely went down well.
"Beach tomato's a fashion and travel site that rounds-up the best of the beach – places to go, what to wear, those must pack items – all in one place."
The site is brought to you by travel brand Black Tomato and includes everything from top destinations, emerging designers, travel tips, and my favourite - 'Beach of the Week'.

Happy New Year

Yess a new year has arrived! I can honestly say I've never been happier to say goodbye to the last. 2010 has been an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. I had the only boy I've ever loved, and that ended. I lost a best friend for a while to a horrible drug. My two best friends no longer care for each other because of that same drug. The biggest load of uni work and the pressure of my dissertation. Graduating and the realisation that I am no longer a student. My first proper job and the responsibilities that come from it. Having to leave my friends and move back home. And another two boy interests that both ended.

Lets just say that 2010 was the hardest year of my life. There have been a lot of high's but once they ended, the low's were even greater. This is the only time I have ever felt the importance of new years resolutions. I have thought hard about the things I want to achieve in this next year, and the happiness I want to feel everyday. I am very excited to see what's to come.

Merry Christmas

Christmas just isn't the same anymore. Well it wasn't this year. I don't even think it has to do with us growing up and the excitement going, because last year's was wonderful. Maybe that's because I was in Paris up until Christmas eve, I dunno. This year I felt like I had no time to even start to feel festive, working up until the 23rd and cramming all the Christmas shopping in the day before, oh and the fact I spent the whole of Christmas day dying from a rotten hangover. Still, the holidays were lovely, and my friends were back, which was better than any present.
